My daughter has an easy time at school. In fact, too easy. Although she did not have to put forth much effort in the early elementary grades she continued to progress. I became a bit concerned when she reached grade 4. Suddenly, subjects began to challenge her a bit. She still maintained excellent grades, but her casual approach to education began to catch up with her. From her past experience and habits, she no longer knew how to truly apply herself now that she needed to do so.
